The Web Advisory Committee strengthens the library's public web presence by exploring ways to enhance the UT Arlington Library's web site and by making recommendations for implementing enhancements. Members of WAC are a critical communication link in the web development process.
Among WAC's activities are:
- resolving usability issues
- approving major design, content or structural changes to the UT Arlington Libraryweb site
- participating in the design of interfaces with site developers by providing feedback and guidance
- identifying and recommending new functionality to be included in the UT Arlington Library web site
- setting priorities for the development and implementation of online services and tools
- providing input on overall web issues
