Issues and Decisions

• It was brought to our attention that we’d totally missed including information about our microforms collections. IR and SPCO provided information about the collections, IS provided information about using the reader/printers, and we now have this on the web site.

Activities in Progress

• The projects that were in progress last time remain in progress.
• WAC reaffirmed the priorities of those projects:
  • Home page/branding (need something so that people can revise instructional materials this summer)
  • Message Boards
  • Google Mini search appliance
• LIFT Transcoder is being implemented as a hosted service by NN Group
• The Subject Resources working group has developed a sample information architecture and presented that to IS staff for feedback. Development of these pages is not expected to happen until Fall 2006

Anticipated for Q4

• Finish implementing Home page/branding changes
• Finish implementing message boards
• Finish implementing LIFT Transcoder
• Get the Google Mini set up
