1. Usability program update (Jones)

ACTION:
Suggested some changes to how the usability program proposal speaks about parent site (e.g. WAC) responsibilities, communication, and interaction with web site author/contributor/creators.

2. Idea for course pages (Trkay)

Make them more interactive, with some features that can be found in WebCT, but without the unneeded features that WebCT has, for example:

• Include discussion/message board
• Adjust the wording to be more communicative
• Adjust the visual design to be easier to process and more inviting
• Include also handouts, tutorials, access to librarians, chat

ACTION:
Good idea. If there are course message boards, there could be an RSS feed on the course page of recent postings. The librarian in charge of the course page could "seed" the message board with info to encourage use. Maybe the librarian would also be responsible for moderating that course's message board (e.g., deleting spam, monitoring abuse, etc)

3. Other updates as they arise (e.g., homepage/CSS, LIFT, subject guides, etc)

ACTION:
The end of the year is coming, so we can start thinking about what we would like WAC to work on in the coming year.
