Reporting web site problems
Web site problems can come in many forms, including but not limited to the following. Please report web site problems to the DLS web staff.
- Outdated information
- Typos or other strange or wrong looking appearance or layout
- A page that does not display
- A link that does not work
- Access problems to e-resources (databases or ejournals or ereserves)
Digital Library Services (DLS) provides web creation, development, coding, scripting and updating services, as well as general web site technical and other support for the UT Arlington Library public web site. (http://library.uta.edu/)
Contact the DLS web staff in one of these ways:
- Public web site comment form (will be delivered by email to libraryweb@uta.edu)
- Library staff web site problem report form (will be delivered by email to libraryweb@uta.edu)
- Email to libraryweb@uta edu (which is the same as library-web_comments@listserv.uta.edu -- both of which are listed in the UT Arlington Exchange/Outlook Address Book as "Library - Web Site Comments")
- Cell phone call:
- Sarah Jones - (817) 821-6844
- Julie Williams - (817) 437-8392
- Scott Holmes - (817) 504-4767
Why delivery to libraryweb@uta.edu is best:
- Email is monitored 7 days a week, including holidays, at all hours we are not asleep
- We are notified by text message to our cell phones when an email is received, to allow us to respond as quickly as possible
- Monitoring is rotated so that whoever is on call for the month will respond to your message
- Email is received by a group so if one person is out or unavailable, others will be there to fill in
- We have access to our laptops when not on campus, so that we can provide web site support from any location that has an internet connection
