The Professional Forum of the UT Arlington Library addresses the professional interests and concerns of library staff and serves as collective voice on issues related to the library and archival professions. The Forum consists of two standing committees:
Professional Development Committee
Identifies and schedules speakers, workshops, research proposals, and plans special projects related to the professional development of library staff.
Career Status Committee
Oversees the career status recognition process including nominations, review of staff, and providing recommendations to the Dean of the Library.
